Joint Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance and Accounting

Andrew has over thirty years’ experience dealing with businesses ranging from new start-ups to international businesses. Andrew trained as a chartered accountant in Cambridge with a large local practice dealing with many educational establishments After qualifying Andrew moved to London and specialised in corporate and personal tax dealing with clients such as Tesco PLC. In 2004 Andrew and Dilip became partners in Assets Accounting based in Reading and London. Andrew is the managing partner and deals with a wide range of businesses including many outsourced operations of internationally owned companies together with those in entertainment media and hospitality. Andrew oversees the practice taxation department dealing with business acquisitions and disposals, research and development tax credits and tax planning. Outside work Andrew has a passion for many sports including cricket and football being a supporter of Essex CCC and West Ham United FC

Joint Managing Director and Head of Outsourced Services

Dilip is a qualified accountant with a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping family companies to achieve their goals by providing professional services. In addition to this, as a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Dilip is an expert at tax planning in all areas of taxation. Dilip trained through a medium size general practice which enables him to deal with a wide range of clients and businesses. Dilip also worked in industry as a Finance Director in oil and gas technology companies. Dilip interests out of the office are playing golf and networking.

Accounts Manager

Andy has worked in accountancy practices for over thirty years and is an experienced accountant preparing accounts for a wide variety of businesses. Andy trained with chartered accountants in London and went on to manage their Islington office and five staff members dealing mostly with licensed trade businesses. Andy has worked with Andrew Wilson since 1995. He is responsible for our small business section and entertainment industry clients dealing with accounts and vat return production and statutory filing matters. When not at work, Andy has a passion for good craft ales. He enjoys all sports but has a strong bias towards any style of rugby. He is an avid St Helens rugby league supporter but supports Harlequins from the other code!

Administration Manager

Suzanne is a highly experienced front-of-house employee with over 20 years of service at Assets Accounting. She is known for her warm personality and excellent rapport with clients, many of whom she knows by name. When relaxing, Suzanne is a keen gardener, cook and hiker. She enjoys spending time in her garden and taking care of her grandchildren and cooking for the family

Business Development Manager

Max Rasool joined Assets Accounting at the end of 2020 as Business Development Manager. Max has been a businessman for ten years and understands the needs of small businesses and is available to discuss the needs of any business at any time. Outside of work I have a busy family life and enjoy meeting friends and jogging

Tax Senior

Claire is a highly skilled personal tax specialist with over 7 years of experience. She joined Assets in 2016 and reports directly to Andrew Wilson and Dilip Patel. She also issues tax checklists, gathers tax information, processes tax returns, and submits them to HMRC. In addition to her personal tax work, Claire also supports our local business clients with their bookkeeping needs. She is a valuable member of the Assets Accounting team and is known for her attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, and positive attitude. Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her two children, meeting friends, and going for walks with her dog in the countryside. She is also an avid reader and enjoys learning new things

Administrator

Gina has a long association with the offices at Chiltern Chambers, having first worked in them in 1974. She returned to work in them again from 2004 to 2009 this time for Assets Accounting, returning yet again to Assets Accounting in 2016 and has been here ever since. Gina is a highly experienced front of house team member with excellent interpersonal skills and cheerful disposition which is infectious. She is approachable and always there to help. Outside of work Gina is married with two children and two grandchildren. She loves music, all animals and is a frequent visitor to animal sanctuaries.
